I have access to an unending supply of annealed glass in 12" X 12" sheets. We send them out as samples for for approval. They're not optically flat. What will the impact be on my shots? Most of them are 1/4" annealed with no coating or something like SB60 which reduces the amount of light allowed through the glass from certain ranges of the spectrum.
In my head I can see the lack of flatness causing the light to be sent in all directions instead of it being sent directly at the coin. Would this cause more problems than it's worth?
