Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 03/22/2012 01:13 am that is laughable but to tell the truth when I first started I just knew I had some coins that were the best looking coins that anyone in the history of coin collecting had ever seen. I just knew if any of my coins were ever to come up for sale Jack Lee himself would be knocking on my door. Of course this ended rather abruptly with a quick dose of reality once I started looking at graded examples and started to learn how to grade myself. I think it is easy for someone just starting out to think a coin this old and if you can still make out what it is, then it has to be Mint State (especially when you do not really have a true concept of what Mint state really means) Report this Post to the Staff
