Hello,

I have a question about CCF-acceptable procedures when selling a coin (using Pocket It Now or an auction) in

'Sales Promotion: CCF, ebay, eCrater, Heritage, Teletrade etc'

If a CCF member has already begun a CCF thread detailing and authenticating a particular coin, would it be acceptable to reference this same thread in the 'Listing Description' when selling a coin?

Thanks for letting me know.

I've seen several members reference a thread related to a coin they are selling within their pocket now or auction thread.

For example members have inserted a link to a thread where members discussed their opinions as to the grade of the coin and whether its been cleaned, dipped, ect. So I believe you are ok to do that.

I like to reference a thread where the coin for sale has been discussed & have done so several times. I like to be as open & upfront as possible when selling(or buying). Linking to a thread with other members opinions allows the buyer to make a decision based on more/better information. That's just good business.

I cannot think of a better way to get an assessment on a coin than by getting our peers to judge it before being offered for sale/trade
