Good story, Barryg! I've had a PO box for more than 10 years and almost all my numismatic coins and bullion have been sent through that box. Never have even tried to buy 500 oz. of silver bullion all at once, the most I have ever done is 50 oz. the bar size. I also get a lot of other merchandise like books, so all of the clerks there just assume I read a lot, and are none the wiser!

I would love to see just one example, where a postal worker actually took the chance to lose their job in this most dangerous economy, esp for postal workers, in-order to steal one order. I guess if it was worth trying at all, it would be for a 500 green monster box perhaps....

I just think it is a pipe dream, too many cameras an protocol these days.....

I mean seriously, if any crook actually worked their an was waiting for the perfect score, it would be like a much smaller package with like 10 high relief 1907 St Gauden's or something, a once in a lifetime score at roughly 25 grand each. That could now adequately sustain them until they could leave the country an go on the run an into hiding forever....

If they even had a crooked dealer they could quickly move them to under the table, just to get them in motion in their plan.....
