I recently posted the no date and have put more picture of it on but last night as we were searching for it we came across this one that I figured was PMD but take a look at the TRUST. Seems like mint damage or debris in the pressing? Thoughts?

A lamination is caused by an internal flaw in the alloy, causing the metal to peel like an onion skin. A large one like that would probably bring $5 or so.

Thanks Mist, I can see where the lam was peeled back end then stamped into the other side like a banana peel. Are there coins after 82' that havce this with the zink showing through. that would be pretty neat.

i find most laminations distracting - and those don't carry a premium. Big ones like this do carry a bit of a premium.
