DO NOT START THAT CONTEST AGAIN.

Suspensions were handed down this time.

How any reasonable person can think posting a picture of a half naked man riding a half naked woman on this forum is even remotely acceptable is beyond me. Unbelievable.

Ouch!

That stinks that that happened, but I completely understand the need to lock this thread.

The best thing about this Forum is the acceptance of all posting collectors, the overwilling willingness to answer, nicely, even the most basic numismatic questions, and finally, the family friendly atmosphere. (We do have members from low teens all the way to well post-retirement).

I certainly don't want my kids frequenting a site that allows trashy language and risque humor.

Good job Mods!

I agree it wasn't even remotely funny and in very poor taste.

No arguments from me on that score
I thought that funny pic's of animals and kids was a pretty safe bet but how wrong I was

Agreed--what might pass on 80% of the internet does not fly here--to my great relief!

I am speaking for myself here as I like the humor and images and sometimes get quite a laugh out of them. I have stopped posting them except an occasional insert slips out. I should restrain myself better.
I am commenting because I would hate to see myself or a few of my favorite witty members get suspended or kicked.
I really like you guys a lot.I like being a four year member too.I want to stay here.
I am also reminding myself that I need to think a bit before I post and ask is this going to add to or detract from the atmosphere that Bobby and Susan and the charter "oldtimers" intended this forum to be.
Although I never got directly scolded ( yet ) for posting images, I have a feeling that they kind of bother the staff as it could ruin the integrity of the forum, which it has a lot of.
I had quite a few images in my previously uploaded image file folder from my old user name here on CCF webspace. I feel guilty and somewhat to blame for the volume of rather silly images I posted that caused another topic to get locked. I think I had hundreds "up there". I think that almost all are still "up there".
I don't understand bandwidth and webspace but I should be happy enough with the free coin gallery I am allowed and I am going to try not to post any more silly stuff.

Now don't get me wrong, I get a kick out of it but there have been a number of times I have seen hints, suggestions, slaps on the hand and downright boots in the rear from admin and out of respect, I need to remind myself in posting this comment, that I feel that our staff probably does not like it on here with such frequency even if it is kind of funny.

I suppose there is a line that gets crossed. I want to stay on the right side of it. This is not directed at anyone but myself but probably worth a thought by all who read it.

Good Job Mods and Admin for the position you have maintained.

and Excellant comments and reminder to all.

I'm sure its too easy to become complacent and too comfortable on the forum for members. Many, including myself, have come to know and respect many here for their valued opinions and discussions on the stuff we collect and care about.

We just need to remember CCF and the forums are an open book and CCF exists for a reason and purpose. Thanks Everyone!

Good job Mods. I do enjoy the banter but sometimes we need to be reminded about the core message of the board. TheNickelGuy, thank you for posting your thoughts directed at yourself. I think at one point or another, a lot of us can relate to your internal dialogue.
