They came in with a 6-coin card. So I have no idea if they are from an original PL set. Besides the 50 cents is gone. It's interesting to see how the silver could tone whereas the others are ok. :) Thanks.

Are those fingerprints on the quarter and the dime? Is it a raised (half) dot on the right side of the number "1" on top of the reverse of the penny?

They most certainly look like finger prints to me.

Pretty sure Pl sets came in sealed pliofilm in an envelope.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, I think 1961 was the 1st year that 6-coin PL set came in sealed pliofilm. Anyways, I'll note these as bullion coins.

Wow! Flashback! I wonder where the set of coins is that was handed to me when I immigrated to Canada. I think they were commemoratives. Gotta dig through the basement now.

Yes. 1961 is the first "pliofilm used set".I have all the sets(pliofilm) back to 1961.

The coins are definitely better than bullion value. They look to be UNC with a few little nicks, except for the nickel, and a dip of the silver ones may get rid of the fingerprints.
