1964 nickel. I am rather amused by the details of this ... strike through? Can anyone make heads or tails of this for me? I'm in awe one way or another. Gotta admit ... it looks pretty cool.

It's post mint damage. You can see the metal has been pushed out of the scratches and the rim has even been pushed outward right where the E in "E Pluribus" would have been.
