Hello! I have been occationally reading this forum for a while, but never joined... Until now that is!

To the question, 10 or 12 years ago I had a grandparent pass away, and while cleaning out a desk we found and few old coins. At the time I was more of a horder then a collector, but I took the coins home with me and put them 'someplace safe' that I soon forgot completely about. Well, I recently remembered/found them and went through putting the nice things in 2x2's and just getting them all out of ziploc bags and properly stored.

Amoung the highlights: A very rough '21 Peace dollar, an 1894-O and 1878-CC Morgan in good and fine. A pile of circ silver, and what I can only assume is an 1864 Lincoln Campaign Token. I have looked on Heritage, but cant find one like it... Does anyone have an idea about possible value? It is in great condition except for the silver blob on the back, that might possible be removeable... Thanks for the help, I look forward to becoming a member of this fine comunity!

I PM'd Cheetahcats. If anyone might know more about this token it would be him or Exoguy. Just wanted to make sure he sees it because it is not in the exonumia forum.

I know I would never do that, but it would be so almost perfect without it! Grrrrr...

The specimen is a Patriotic Civil War token.

It has a Fuld Obverse 128, and a Fuld Reverse 289.

I cannot tell by the photo if the specimen is copper or brass.

If it is copper, it has a rarity rating of R-9 (2-4 presently estimated to exist).

If it is brass, it has a rarity rating of R-3 (501-2000 presently estimated to exist).
