I have two of these... not sure what they are. The case is a bit scratched in the scan and kinda blurred the image but hoping someone can help me identify it.

Maybe some one will chime in with more information, but I will share what little that I have.

I have a similar medal that is about 2 inches in diameter. Note I said similar, *not* the same. There were a lot of Bicentennial medals produced, and most of them are not really cataloged. Now that one I have, which is plated with gold and not solid gold, mentions that there is a smaller solid gold version that is an inch in diameter.

BUT, but, but, a lot of those designs seemed to have been copied and modified by other companies and reproduced. So it is a similar design, but *not* the same. And I have a mention in the booklet of a smaller solid gold medal.

Like I said, not a lot of information and I don't want to get your hopes up.

Well, I'm not sure that it is Gold, it's kinda brightly colored for gold seems more like brass in tone, but I have no clue. Weighs 11g in the protective capsule. Not sure what the capsule weighs...if that helps. My scale is a postage scale and rounds up to nearest gram :(
