A friend has given me a heap of coins....halfpennies, pennies, english coins, chinese coins, yugoslavian coins, german coins, danish coins........etc.

I'm really not into foreign currency and I have taken out the Australian ones I wanted....what do I do with the rest?

Get a copy of krause from your library if you dont already have one. Find any silver you can. Sell the silver. Most coin dealers will buy foreign coins by weight, about $10 per kg. Profit.

I would subdivide them into individual plastic bags by country, then break out the catalog...see if there are any you actually like or valuble ones...

If you can't get your hands on a Krause catalogue, here are two good sites for identifying coins; approximate values and metal type...http://(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed /   http://www.ngccoin.com/poplookup/Wo...e-Guide.aspx

Good luck,
Jeff
