It happened a lot, especiaslly with the Peace and Morgan dollars, generally when they were shipped in large quantity bags... Beautiful 1921 by the way, the High Relief is absolutely stunning if you haven't seen it first hand... Pictures never do it justice... Report this Post to the Staff
biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 03/28/2012 9:11 pm classic bagmark, I am so used to seeing them on silver dollars that it did not strike me as anything out of the ordinary. Sometimes seen on half dollars as well but you need some big coins banging into each other to make reeding indentations like that. It may grade higher than one would think. The motto and date are very prominent. Looking at Coin Facts, the 63 through 65 is worth $500-755. Just my opinion though. Report this Post to the Staff
