What I propose is a competition for who can noodle the best finds this weekend. Short notice I know, but I don't care! The entrant has to post the quantity and denomination of the noodle pot prior to the noodle. After the noodle, results are to be posted into here. There will then be a poll involving all the entrants for to vote on who has had the best noodlation. Honour system rules as usual. Prize will be cheap as I am skint, but we are playing for the adulation of our peers here

Kramer?
It is only Thursday! What I meant was for people to gather coins before the weekend and then post a list of what they were going to noodle. Then for another post during the weekend when the noodlation is complete with the discoveries listed. Then we go to a vote... It could be 10 good coins found, or one exceptional one, the public will decide :-)

Great idea! I hope it encourages people to get out there, hit up their local bank(s), and find some awesome stuff to report back! @trout those coins are still captive! I'm also out for this weekend as I've had my big noodle for the week, and duty calls... Better odds for the rest of you

This sounds like fun, I'll be heading to the bank this afternoon to grab some 50's.
I understand that it probably wouldn't be fair if I won with such a low post count, but I'll still let you know how I get on.
The thrill of the chase is enough for me!

@ozcoins : The winner will be chosen by a poll of all the entrants. Winner chosen by peers.
@Grant : This competition is to try and put a little spark into the life of a noodler, count yourself entered!
Did the 50c at work today - trying to get a head start! Tooks AGES as I don't collect 50c and have no idea what I am looking for. Found a couple of things but you will have to wait and see what they are on Sunday night / Monday morning.
@Steve, do you have a list that I can have! I have started one, but it is based only on the Greg McDonald book.

Ok, I'm ready to go. I know the basics, but I really should find a list of 50's to look out for. Oh, and if you were wondering, this is what $900 worth of 50's looks like!
