CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 03/29/2012 4:36 pm The thickening of the bases of the letters in "UNITED" looks stronger than the photos on coppercoins.com. Do the die markers match? (Semi-unreleated note - after looking at lots of shield cents recently, I think the crack on the top-left edge of the shield is a bad one to use for a die marker - it's on there as often as not on many different dies.)
