The condition on the coin is really hard to match up the marker photos... does this look legit only comparing the MM? I see some PMD at the top left, but the bottom left looks good IMO, what do you guys think?

It does appear to have some sort of shifted doubling. Is there a Fivas-Stanton attribution to this RPM?

With that hit on the upper left of the MM it is impossible to tell for sure if it's an RPM. 1979-D is known for it's damaged MM punch so a lot of the coins look like an RPM when in fact it's normal for that year.

Location is incorrect and John1 is correct this is normal that year from a damaged punch.

How can searching box after box be frustrating What year are your WAM's? Just keep searching and you will find your share of errors and varieties, good luck and enjoy the hunt.

I'm thinking this is a normal 1979D cent with some light damage.
