going through some pocket change I noticed the Y in liberty seemed larger. I took the photo with a bright flash so you could see the letter looking higher up. The coin does seems to be a bit more shiny for its age. This was pocket change by the way.

Ya I know its prob. Nothing, Maybe I'm just hoping for something I find in my pocket to be worth more than face value : (

A lot of newcomers to this site are very optimistic about some coin nuances they really don't understand. This is a primo learning site. The members are glad to help. Last year we had a newbie finding rare and undiscovered varieties every few days until he saw the light.
Good stuff is out there. Keep learning and searching. Best of luck.

The "Y" tends to be taller on this year. A heavy die polishing can thin the devices. So I think this common for the year.
Note LIBERTY in this image:

I know it is a doubled die on these images, but you can see the "Y" towering over the rest of the devices in that area.
