wert Rest in Peace 1988 Posts	Posted 03/30/2012 10:48 pm Hi guys Can anyone tell me why all(I think) American pennies after 1969 approx. have the word "WE" in perfect alignment..But all pennies before 1969 have the word "WE" not aligned...The "W" is always higher than the "E". You are simply seeing two different engravings. This has nothing to do with the mintmark. Report this Post to the Staff
