Hello everyone. I received my collector's card and package of legendary quarters. I also got several of them from change.
I don't know how you feel about those coins, but I am definitely not impressed with this coin series, especially the blank orca. There are almost no details. At least, lesser details than the ones showed on the mint website. The colorized ones look prettier, but I can see within one meter a chain rainbow around the colour. It seems to me that they came out in a hurry.

After, seems to me that the whole collection is just minted to attract non-collectors to buy the silver (colourized quarters) after having found them in loose change.

I love them. I haven't had any problems with the ones I've found in change, and it's gotten a few people I know that don't really look through their change to go through it and collect them, so I think it's a pretty good success.

quality (mint packaged circulated sets) is absolute CRAP. looks like my kids colored them with nail polish and a wide brush.

i realize they only cost me 25 cetns but still, if you are going to make something 'special' at least make something you can be proud of.

Unfortunately, nowadays, everything in this world is about business. The mint makes those coins in a hurry just for making money and attracting buyers.

Well, if I want the ICCS or PGCS to certify those colorized coins, how could they give a high grade with a rain of rainbows? (Due to cheap minting and coloring)

After all, I still like the collector's card. (But a good card could be useless with boring coins.

Think about the Baffulo Nickels. Then think about those Double Eagles. Coin is a kind of art. Yes, the mint can make profit out of it, but just like

Make everyone be proud of the art of colourized coins. Canada is the first country to mint colorized coins in circulation, and they are not meant to be cheap!

ya its like the zinc pennies. feels like a piece of plastic.... cheap.... reminds me of a peso or an oriental aluminum... (no offence to anyone from the orient or mexico)

but if you want your money to have value it should feel like it has value, or at least LOOK like it

honestly I am not just disapointed in the coin (25c's), I am kind of embarrassed...
