We had the Regional Ringette Tournament here this weekend and my granddaughter plays. Teams from all across Northern Ontario. They had all kinds of booths set up for give a ways, prizes and private vendors, well I went to all of them on Friday and ask if they had any of the now plain or coloured quarters, went back a few times to check and come home with a big fat 0
The Mint did a good job of distributing them.

who is "they"? the tournament people? or the mint?

if the mint had a booth or was a sponsor i'de say it would have been nice if they had some to hand out. but it's hard to complain when someone volunteers a sponsorship or donates prizes (beggars cant be choosers).

The Mint did a good job of distributing them.

if the "they" is the tournament people well then it's not really the mint's fault that "they" didn't have the quarters

the mint distributed to the dealers who ordered, the public who ordered (at face value no less, and with no shipping) and to every bank in the country. don't know how you can say the did a poor job...

It was my attempt at being sarcastic.
