Hey Bud

Take a look on VamWorld.com At Vam# 14A and leme know how your coin matches up

Just looking at your coin and the photos I see the Neck Clashing looks pretty close

Phil - Thanks for the vamming help. It does seem to be a 14a. It seems the clash at the lips is more common than I thought.

Yea its a pretty common place for the clashing on the Obverse - the spot you wana check for thats not "too" common is the Hair vee of liberty to the right side of the coin .. kinda around the 5 o'clock area - Thats a good spot to get to know what to look for ..

But that link for the Attribution 101 page is really gona help you out alot .. being able to narrow down your search by date position and or Mint Mark Location ...

This 87p is VAM-3A.
It is very similar to and can be easily mistaken with VAM-14A.
The key difference is the clash t on hair vee.
Weak st clash for 14A.
Strong t clash for 3A.
