Here's the penny I found. Poor picture, I apologize. I did some looking around and it looks like it has the "low 9" ?

Tough to tell from the photo; the date being a little blurred, but I believe that it is a Denver Small Date.

Thanks Jbuck, took me a minute to figure out that it was moved. Yes, it is a "d" and all I have is my iphone camera and a magnifying lens so my photo skills are horrible

Hard to tell from those photos ... try setting the coin down on a neutral background (say a sheet of cream colored paper) and try again ... many folks have proven it's possible to snap reasonable "ID this coin" photos with camera phones.

BTW ... the 1960-D small date cent is fairly common ... say 1 in 4 of that particular date/mm are small date.

I got all excited when I found a small date D. Then I found 2 more in the same box and thought something was fishy. Then I looked in my Red Book and realized how common it was. Still searching for that small date S or DD.
