EnigmaticMindx Valued Member United States 207 Posts	Posted 04/04/2012 12:39 am I found this earlier today, I'm wondering if it's a re-punched mint mark? Or is it zinc rot? But didn't zinc pennies start in 1987? I know the pics are bad, but it looks like doubling in person. Thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

Minor correction on your typo. Both copper and zinc cents were minted in 1982. Starting in 1983, cents for circulation were with zinc. Report this Post to the Staff
