MathieuMa Pillar of the Community France 1591 Posts	Posted 04/04/2012 1:06 pm Here is a beautifull 8 reales, minted in mainland Spain in Valladolid around 1565 (or a bit later) Essayer A (inverted V) with a little ring over it. The Valladolid mint mark is made of 3 waves here on the right - bound by 3 dots in a triangular shape above and bellow it. Calico 277 - those with the book or the PDF can check it out, there is a surprise :) Hope you like it, we don't see much mainland cobs here (mostly due to the fact that most readers are from America and collect new world cobs) Report this Post to the Staff
