Just got back from a local shop where I made a trade with coins found strictly from roll searching. I put together a roll of bu/unc 1996P Kennedy halves and another of 2000P Kennedy halves from two boxes I got yesterday. I traded them, along with two SBA widerims I found a few weeks ago (i kept the third widerim for my dansco) for an 1887 O Morgan. Nothing crazy, I was just proud to basically buy a Morgan for $22.00!

Well, I did it again. Went through a box and put together a roll of assorted NIFC (2002 through 2011). Traded it straight up for two Barber halves.

Honestly, this has re energized me as far as searching halves. With less and less silver, I can now just work to put together rolls of AU/BU halves and trade them for basically double their face value in silver. Hopefully the guy doesn't get sick of me giving him circulated halves, but so far hes ok with it. I make sure to remind him that its ok if he doesn't want them, but as long as he does, I will keep bringing them. So far, my tally is as follows: All obtained at face value $10 roll assorted NIFC $10 roll 1996P $10 roll 2000P 2 x SBA widerims In exchange for: 1887 O Morgan 1909 Barber Half 1913 Barber Half By my calculations, I am up about $15.

My dealer offered me 45 cents each for brilliant 2001+ S mint proof Kennedy halves.
