Found this today and researched on google and found that there were no gold dollar coins made in 1923, but this one is definitely gold. It looks exactly like the one in the picture, only it's gold. How much is this worth? Can someone please please give me some info? Thank you!

Thanks so much!

I kind of doubt it is gold, maybe golden toned, maybe gold plated or even spray painted, but I just don't think so.
So many first posts by members submitted are similar to this.
Why not take a picture of your coin. Weigh it, if it were gold it would weigh a heck of a lot more than a normal 1923 Peace dollar at 26.7 grams.
A 1923 Double Eagle $20.00 gold coin is smaller and weighs 33.4 grams.

There are also any number of "replicas" or "gold rounds" out there that use classic coin designs.

We could *really* use some pictures to take a better look.

My guess is golden colored replica. But a guess without a pic is worthless, I guess.

Mardi1987: Welcome to the CCF!
Good to have you aboard.

No need to photograph it.
Standard question:
'How much does it weigh?'

If it were .900 fine solid gold, it would weigh around 48 grammes.
