I recently got a haul of 94 Ikes from a bank, and now I'm going to be spending them when I can. Over the last two days I spent 15 of them:
*I gave one to a friend for him to spend, in exchange for his $1 bill.
*I used five of them, to complement two quarters, to buy 10 candy bars at 55ยข each.
*I used nine to help pay for groceries. The funny thing is, a cashier asked if the store could accept them, and the bagger wanted to buy them, so she exchanged a $20 bill with the cashier for the coins and $11 in bills. She'll probably use them as a treat for this Halloween.

I spent 11 Ikes to help pay for gas in my car. The funny thing is, I had $1.60 due as change and the cashier gave me back one of the Ikes. So that means a total of $10 was put into circulation.

I spent $5 on Ikes for facial cream, then another $9 in Ikes on groceries. I also spent two Presidential dollars on a bag of chips from a vending machine. This makes a total of $16 in coins. $31,303.50 to go. |
