Got a bag of M&M's for $0.99 and paid for it with a dollar coin... The lady at the cash register looked like she was about to ask me for the rest before she realized it was a dollar!

Used a half dollar as part of the tip to the Pizza Hut delivery driver yesterday. Spent $45 in halves and dollar coins including 3 Ikes at the grocery store today. The bag boy was saying something about coins as I was trying to count mine out so I didn't catch the whole story he was trying to tell but he opened his wallet and pulled out an Ike he carried with him  $21,147 to go |

I wasn't aware of this thread until tonight, but I spent (all halves) $10. at Roy's BBQ, $10. at Dollar Tree, and $20. at Walmart today. A few weeks ago I spent $100. at Rural King, $5. tipped a waitress, $20. Aldi, $10. at KFC, $10. at Arby's, $20 at Dollar General, $80 at a fuel distributor, $23. at Walmart. There have been many more times, but I don't know the amounts. $20,821 to go. |

I spent a single dollar coin to help pay for groceries today. Two days ago, I spent $4 at a bar for a plate of mini pretzel dogs. This is $5 total.
