I spent $6.50 in halves at one restaurant, $7 in halves at another restaurant, and $2 in dollar coins at a convenience store. This is $15.50 total in coins.

Spent $6 in the last week on school lunches for my daughter. 1 SBA, 4 Kennedy half dollars, 2 sacs and 1 Pres. $5,611.50 to go. |

Hello everyone. I just realized that it has been 3 months since I posted here. Still keeping track though. I see we are getting real close to our goal. This is great!
In the past 3 months I spent 90 dollar coins (all small dollars) and 36 half dollars. This is $108 total.

Spent $10 in halves on Powerball lottery tickets. Just think how many half dollars I could search with $301 million.  Spent $2.50 in halves and dollar coins including 1 Ike at Kohls department store taking advantage of my $10 off of $10 coupon. $5,491 to go Edited by jack jeckel

Spent $15.50 in halves at the beer store.
Spent $5.50 in halves and 1 Ike at Burger King for dinner. The cashier lady immediately took the Ike and 2 halves and swapped them out for 2 $1 bills she had in her pocket.
