Dropped a lot at once for non-collecting purposes today at lunch: $6 goldens for a Burger $2 goldens for a soda at the bar while I was there (felt like splurging) $1 halves as tip to the bartender $9 total  $86 965.50 to go. Decided to go reload at the bank a block away got $5 goldens, $6 halves and $4 Ikes  |

Having been inspired by the recent hearing about replacing the dollar note with the dollar coin, I went to the bank today and got a roll of golden dollars.
I spent 4 today for lunch, for a total of $86,928.50 to go.

A co-worker thinks our spending dollar coins is fun/funny. She sent me this link http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ill/1736875/and said "You guys better work harder! :)" I replied "We are trying. :( We have spent a little over 13,000 dollar coins since April." her response "Ha! Good work, Citizen."   |

$2 halves toward lunch
Afternoon hanging with a freind at a coffee shop,
$2 halves for peppermint bark as he remarked "You and your strange currency!"
Female cashier remarked "Awesome! 50 cent pieces."
$3.50 goldens and half in a kettle
$4 goldens for mouthwash
$11.50 total spent
