I spent 2 golden dollars at the coin club meeting for drinks, 2 more at the club later, and 1 dollar and 1 half dollar at the grocery store. Then I spent 5 dollars and 3 halves at bowling. This is $12 total.
When I handed the guy at bowling the dollar coins, he said "I am not going to change the world by spending this funny money". Of course I disagreed with him and told him I was going to keep trying. I also told him that one day this will be the only option when the dollar bills are gone, but they don't listen.
$81,818.50 to go.

I don't think they are keeping a total, but I believe $2 notes are being discussed on another thread
