I had a few that confused me also...but if you think about it....if a cent was double struck none of them would be backwards or pushed in...they would be all raised and you could read them normal. Also you can see a clear indention from the rim of the cent that was squeezed against it...if it was double struck the rim would be raised. (or actually would their be a rim in the middle if it was struck twice? I actually am not sure...)
