My dealer called me, he just had a customer come in with some bars I might be interested in. So I said put them aside and ill pop by later today.

Todays pick up
JM 500g old pour bar
This to me is the holy grail of JM bars, I have tried to find this bar for about 4 years now with no luck.

The person that brought that JM bar in also brought some US coinage, 23 Barber quarters 1906-1916. I am not one for US coinage but for spot -10% I picked them all up.

Still at work but pictures will be up soon.

Yeah that is one of those old pours that the ebay world would trade licks with for some time until one came out with it....

Five hundred grams translates to what, just over 16 troy oz., nice little pickup! Odd weight as is many of the old bars, perhaps the collector fascination is coupled around that, and the fact you just can't get them as easy anymore....

Todays-Pick-Up!

Same size as the 20oz just a hair thinner. This one came with the assay also, turns out the bar is a few years older than me

Very very very nice purchase all the way around. I really like your picks-ups recently on the JM silver bars. Hang onto those puppies as long as you can. They will be worth much more in the long run for their silver content, brand recognition and collector scarcity. Good job

I'm sorry but maybe I'm confused is the 500 grams a gold or silver bar? I really can't tell from the pictures, either way it looks awesome.
