Went to bank a few days ago and asked for any two dollar bills, they had 23 available so I took them all. I was very happy to find a crisp 1976 star note in the mix!

sorry for the quality of the pic, but you can get the idea, not necessarily a unique serial, but a ?low one is guess.

to CCF. Nice find. Most collectors consider a low SN to start with four zeros. John1

Normally low serial numbers are below 10,000 (X00009999X and below). Nice find though!

Thank you all for the responses, I was definitely happy with my find. Can anyone comment on the numismatic value of 2 dollar bills in general and if you believe they are worth hoarding decent condition notes?

This is a sweet bill, I also collect notes and this 2.00 bill reminds me of the Jefferson Coin and Chronicles set( 1994 ) which IF you are lucky, You received a 2.00 Star note in the set.... Thanks for sharing.....Mike
