Cleaned Or Not? That Is The Question...

Classic Coin Guy 661 Valued Member United States 100 Posts	Posted 04/10/2012 5:45 pm Hey Guys, I picked up these coins a while back. I do not have the best camera, so bear with my photos. The 1864 has a red/brown luster too it. Unc details, but a weak reverse. The 1831 half has very fine details. I wanted to know your opinion as to wether or not they are cleaned. Also, what do you guys think the grade would be if I sent these coins into NGC. Thanks for your opinioin. Report this Post to the Staff

It looks like your 2C is a woody - that'd be a nice find! My gut tells me they've seen a little bit of cleaning, but I don't want to sound too sure because I'm not. Report this Post to the Staff
