Well I was searching for any new Ottoman Libyan coins that may have come out within the two years that I have been absent from posting my new findings and Nothing at all. But I did come across something and was very happy to see my Coin listed in the new books and making news in Istanbul turkey,
Its the one on the bottom right http://www.osmanliparalari.com/Gumu...A_709-2.html

This is an area of numismatics I would love to learn more about, especially as I have spent some time in Turkey.

I would imagine that fakes of the scarce coins would always need to be considered. Digging them up as you have done would be a much more rewarding numismatic experience.

sel_69l its fun and very exciting, I learn every day the history that a coin leaves behind not knowing who held it in there hands at one point, like what happened to who when were and how , just gives me the shivers. AND IF ITS ROMAN then you would feel your hair tingling and a heart beet faster and you will fly back in time 1000 or 2000 years trying to imagine what was it like during that period
