After much thought I have decided on the Morgan as a starting point to my collection.

I have narrowed it down to the two listed below, both are NGC slabbed;

1.) 1882-S MS64+ NGC for $135
2.) 1881-S MS64 NGC for $105

I'm stumpped.

Going on date alone, for some reason I prefer 1881.

Can't go wrong with the 1881, it's a nifty palindromic date and leaves you with $30 of budget left to buy something else (like a junk grade Morgan or Peace?) vs. the 1882.

82-S 64+ is my vote, but I'd much rather made a decision based on looking at a coin

New / old NHC holders? I would lean toward to the MS64+, but then again, not without images to comapre them.

I would go with the 1882-S but that is without pictures, not all NGC MS64s are created equal so the appearance and toning can make all of the difference.
