I have a complete collection of Australian decimal coins mounted in albums, 1966 to 2011. Condition from fine to UNC with no rubbish. All rare coins included.
Would anyone have a clue to value and the best way to sell?

Some pictures would help to value.
I would say face value plus a little more.

Keith
Have a look at ebay completed listings. For example http://www.ebay.com/csc/solution285...0.m270.l1313. That's me but plenty of people selling decimals there.

That will give you a fair idea of what they are fetching and some input to consider the main question "Do I split them or separate them into lots?
I am sure you will get lots of suggestions.

Only a few low mintage ones are worth much more than face value, unless in exceptional condition.

Do you have 1985 and 1988 20¢? They are very scarce.
Is it a year set or does it include varieties too? 1966 wavey 2 20¢ will fetch over $200 alone and 2000 incused millennium 50¢ usually goes for around $30, even in rather everage condition.

Yes, it contains all varieties, including the 85 and 88 20c both in UNC condition.

Its a huge task to tally all that stuff up. You would be wise to get one of either greg macdonalds or renniks most recent catalogue.

Do you have a wavy 66 and a millenium incuse? Those together are probably worth close to the remainder totalled together. Those issued for mint sets only and in UNC will always fetch decent prices.

If you have an incuse of wavy post pics so we can value. Same goes for key dates eg 1972 5c 1968 1c and 2c as well the pre... say 1970 coins because grade will significantly affect value.

I will give tallying it all up if you post some pictures and can confirm you have all the mint set only coins because thats where most of the value will be.
