I placed a few drops of badthads verdicare on this coin and let it sit for 15 minutes. Proceeded to wipe the coin down with a microfiber cloth. The verdigris came right off no problem.

Some of the details got distorted becuase I flattened this coin. It was slightly bent and annoying me. Placed it in between two pieces of hard oak in a piece of leather and smacked it with a sledge. I don't plan on selling this coin, she's going to reside in my type set so no regrets in messing with it.

Normally I would cringe, but I can understand the apprehension towards a bent coin and therefore hold no grudge against you.

Looks like a good conservation, exactly how the product was intended to be used.

Here's a nickel that I conserved yesterday. Verdigris on nickels is much harder than what is typically seen on copper. I soaked this coin for 24 hours and then worked the verdigris with a toothpick (while under VC) for about 5 minutes:

That made a world of difference on those coins!! They came out really good. I love the before and after shots.
