I saw this on ebay and had to share. Definately made me chuckle, especially since it is "CERTIFIED"! http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEWFOUNDLAN...em589371ac85Anybody familiar with this grading company? Not a very good at grading if they can't see that the coin clearly says 20 cent, and they turn around and certify it as a 25 cent coin.

Quote: the seller's name says it all: centsles Any correlation between the grade stated on a centsles slab and reality is purely coincidental! He's been around for years, providing chuckles for seasoned numismatists. I've complained to ebay about his auctions for years but he skirts their regulations and continues to offer his dreck.

sells mostly garbage... just wonder where he gets it from? It is a long story, but I had a chat with an AAG in florida... they are legal.. was told their iron clad return policy saves their bacon. AND that any grade is an opinion only... from any TPGbuy the coin.. Not the packaging... what bugs me is this: there are some Canadian dealers also re-selling this junk as Graded and certified..

^ I should go onto ebay and list a sweater button in a holder and certify it as 1921 nickel. Then write that in my disclaimer.

This guy sure gets a lot of free advertising on forums such as this, discussions of his shortcomings come up at least once a month.Bet there's a few reputable dealers and slabbers who would like this much exposure.Unfotunately its all negative, but I bet it does bring traffic to his ebay listings.

I have rescued a couple good coins from slabs, mostly unattributed varieties... at least his photos are decent enough to formulate your own opinions.

I've actually bought some pretty nice coins from them. I think they've even offered a couple of 1921 5 cent coins in the past year.
