Recently have come upon the time to start roll hunting for my Kennedy half dollar album.

Wish me luck!

Half a box coming in on Tuesday, and picked up 200$ today.

Got 1971 D, 72 D, 73, 74 d, 76 d, 77, 78 d, 80 p, 81 P, 83 D, 84 d, 85 d, 86 d, 88 d, 89 d, 90 d, 91d, 92 d, 93 d, 94, d, 96 d, 97 d, 98 d, 99 P, 00 P, 01 D, 2009

I know I could have filled more holes...But...Just pulling out the ones that call to me.

Has anyone had any success filling their S Proof holes with boxes?

Yes I've gotten 21 out of the 41 copper-nickel clad proofs and 3 of the 4 40% silver clad proofs. I've also found every business strike except for the 2011 and 2012 issues as well as the 1970d. I havent found any SMS coins or any 90% silver proofs yet though. The 90% silver proofs are extremely tough to find, and the 1998 s Matte (the key to the series) is virtually impossible to find. Proofs from the early 70's are relatively easy to find though.

I've been setting aside rolls of Kenney halves trying to get enough to warrant starting a Kennedy circulation set. Over the past few weeks I have been very lucky at getting some 90 and 40% coins from the tellers (my main interest) but would like to attempt this.

I have just completed putting together a circulating set for Jefferson nickels by pulling the last coin I needed from the wild.

Pretty amazing finds, especially on the 2009.
