I finally made my first ebay purchase after looking for a deal for the longest time. I bought a 1976s 3 piece Silver proof set for $19.10 after shipping. Did I do ok on it? It seems you cant buy anything on there for a good deal...

Yep, you did fine. A few bucks better than average actually. The original issue price was $15.00 BTW, I believe.

You actually can find some amazing deals there once in a while, usually when you're not looking for them.

Anyway, good buy.

Boy, this ebay thing is addictive! I just bought a 1921p Mercury dime for $23.01 after shipping, I need to block that website or something!

16.74 grams, or a little more than half of a troy ounce.

Nice pickup, just be careful when you get into the more pricey stuff. There are quite a bit of counterfeits out there.

Very nice pickup on the set and dime.

Best way is to compare prices and do some searching to find the deals. Prices can vary greatly for the same item.
