So I'm a real noob at grading coins, so take this with a bucket of salt but I'm thinking maybe gEF at best.
While the marks on the reverse can be explained as circulation marks, my concern is the scratches on the obverse.
The fact that they appear to be directional kinda tells me that either the coin was rubbed on a course cloth or that side was "cleaned" for some reason.
Still it's a nice coin, maybe better than nice, still those scratches raise enough question marks for me that I would not touch it. That's just my opinion though.
Good luck if you chose to bid on it.
Cheers Peter

That's a nice example of 1915 h florin, it looks like at the very least it's had a good washed ,which is fine if done right. No grime or spots. The seller has done a great job with his photos ,yep maybe his grade is not on the money , but it wouldn't surprise me he was misled when he brought the coin. Good luck to him I say here is a ms62 to compare I used 2 different light sources

Just to slightly veer off topic; How do you get the "zoom" function for an ebay listing? I haven't seen that before. Jeff

On cleaning, if you can please post here including photos of examples showing cleaning, we can all learn by knowing what to look for... https://goccf.com/t/116270

Rather than us reposting old photos if you use the search function on the top left of the page you will find countless threads about different cleaned coins.

i would have to say it has been cleaned to some extent because of the scratches on the fields of the obverse all suspiciously go in the same direction indicating cleaning but otherwise it is still a great coin who ever picked it up will be happy with it.

Have a look at this coin. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-1915H-...em35bcc744cdThis coin looks to me to be harshly cleaned. I was astonished to see that it had been slabbed by PCGS as AU55. Whats going on? Are PCGS slabbing scrubbed coins now to increase their profits?

Looks like it has honest circulation wear to me. Perhaps there are a few hairlines there but it doesn't look harshly cleaned.
