My first thought is PMD. Almost full, intact rims on the reverse though?

It's still a neat find imho.

It is an interesting coin, for sure.

Is that a Cud on the L in Liberty?

And the rest looks like PMD. I'm surprised no one else has posted anything on it in the past 4 days?

Hmmm, interesting. The reverse channel could potentially be a pre-strike delamination which would account for two of the areas of rim weakness. The third area could be a clip but it seems unusually weak for such a tiny clip.

Interesting for sure. I can't see any metal movement on the reverse, so I wouldn't definitely say that it's damage, but on the obverse, the weak areas on the rim also seem to show letter flattening, not just weakness.

I'm going to say damage, but it's odd that the field and Lincoln's head on the obverse don't show any damage. Pretty interesting.

On a lamination that fell off, you would see some of the devices under the laminated piece. I' not seeing this on this coin. On a damaged coin you would see the opposite devices flatten. I don't see this on this coin. On a Cud you would see a raised area on one side of the coin and a weakness on the opposite side. This coin appears to have a weakess On both sides. The rim size looks normal like it was struck in a collar. So I'm thinking it is a struck though error. But the area that is weak doesn't make no sense on the 2nd area in question?

Does the coin lay flat on a table or is it slight bent? If bent it may be a damaged coin. It totally flat it may be a mint error.

That is quite odd, this is a good one for Mike Diamond.
