Not if the plastic contains PVC.

The plastic is PVC free and BPA free.

It seems like it would be more of a hassle to store than traditional methods, especially the rolls...

Agreed. Seems effective, but not too sure how practical it is. Better than my method though which is effectively non-existent.

I guess I meant as far as saving space, all of the extra plastic wold getting the way. Seems to be great for preservation as long as the material causes no long term damage.

Fine for storage I suppose. I am pretty sure plastic containing PVC isn't allowed for use in food storage bags.

It will keep your coins fresh and crisp for a long while but you can't enjoy them like that. Use 2x2's instead.
