I bought this tiny platinum coin on ebay about a month ago, but hadn't looked at it with a loupe until today. Now I don't know whether to laugh or cry

The outer rim on both sides is raised all around, and there are a couple of Cuds attached to the rim on the reverse side.
Will this devalue the coin or add value when I decide to sell it?

It was kinda hard getting photo's through the capsule, but I hope you get the general idea.

This is the reverse side with the Cuds circled.

No comment...& I hope this doesn't make me pull the loupe out on my proofs.
What coin? what year? what size? If it's a tiny coin, then no-one will know the wiser.
I can't comment on pricing...notes are my forte.

The coin is a 1993 'The Australian Koala' Proof 1/20 oz, from Perth Mint originally.

In the very distant future it could end up in the hands of a coin dealer, so it could get closely examined. If it's bad news, I'd rather know ahead of time.

Don't think I'll be looking too closely at any of my other proofs in future either

I would say a dealer would pay spot minus a few percentage points

I don't think they will worry too much about what you have listed though I fear they will bring it up in order to lower the price

Are you absolutely sure you are not seeing plastic burrs from the capsule? I would recommend opening the capsule and taking a closer look at the edge to see if it is the capsule or the coin itself.
