the most beautiful early milled coin that I have. I'm not very good on grading these coins, so could you help me with this. major worn is only olives leaves, probably the highest spots. I'm thinking VF at least..

Thank you, I like this coin too. Even with this wear on olive leaves it is can be graded extra fine?

It is a very good looking coin!

One thing to check for with 1738 halfpennies is the V over S variety. Apparently they originally misspelled the name as GEORGIS. From here I don't see any evidence of it on your coin but you could take a closer look.

I'd give it a VF. Good looking coin for one that old.

Here are some better pictures and one with the kings name, I can't see any S on V. looks like a standart coin.
How much it could be worth ? something like 80-100 GPB ?
Thank you in advance

Looks like there is a die clash mark between Britannia's head and the spear, and a vague letter impression in the NIA.

This coin is in superior condition than most Geroge 11 halfpennies, and this one has an excellent patina.

There is a little too much obvious wear on the high areas of the design to warrant an EF grade. There is wear on the garland above the King's ear on the obverse, and on Britainia's knees, left breast and on the shield, reverse.

VF would be the correct grade for this coin.

I have an example of a George 11 halfpenny also, but mine would only rate G or VG, a grade at which these coins are most commonly found.
