Poll Question

Quote:
Hello everyone:
This is a poll for everyone. Choose your favourite type of State Quarter that was dated 1999 to 2010. I made several different polls because I only could have 15 poll answer choices. Here are the rules:
1. Vote only once on one single coin. That means, if you have a tie between two, vote for both if you can. Please don't vote one coin twice.
2. The highest vote in this poll will make its way up to the next poll (probably the finals) next Saturday.
3. Feel free to share you vote by posting posts.
4. Comments are welcomed.
I would just like to know the opinions of American collectors on their own circulation coins.

Same rules. This is the finals.

Thank You

Poll Choices
 1999 Connecticut
 2002 Tennesse
 2004 Texas
 2006 North Dakota
 2008 Alaska

I think the new ATB's (America the Beautiful) quarter designs make the State Quarter designs LOOK LIKE CIRCUS TOKENS ! ......

You should do a poll "so far" on these ATB's !

I voted for Alaska, by the way !.....

I like most of the ATB designs over the State ones. I did pick Alaska though.

Sad to say, but most of the State Quarters look as if they were designed by committees. Which I understand they were.

Connecticut still. Love the tree. That is the quarter in my State Quarter slot in my 7070.

However I have found a new love for the Mississippi quarter. Just bought the silver State Quarters from a member here, and the Mississippi looks amazing in silver. WOW.

And yeah as far as the ATB Quarters.... What a tough choice it would be to narrow those down. They really did a great job on all of them.

Too bad your poll could not be run as a single poll of fifty. There were some great designs, a great many mediocre ones and a handful of really bad ones. I had 11 quarters I really liked: Delaware, New Jersey, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Maine, Texas, Nevada, North Dakota, Utah, Alaska & Hawaii.
