Quickly I propose a MS65FS here ... hope I am right. I see a little contact marks on the jaw and shoulder and a nick in the dome but this is a nice one. At first I said MS66FS but then I saw those minor issues.

actually for you, I hope I am wrong and it goes higher. When I see the image smaller, it looks a whole lot nicer.

I agree with NickelGuy MS-65 FS. 1950 d's tend to come nice and I've seen many of them tone very nicely. to my eye, I love the reverse on your coin. Jeffersons are rarely well struck and when you have a nice one like yours they rarely go unscraped. A coin I'd be happy to have.

As an aside, I have a very nice 1950 d that I've been considering sending in. having seen your coin, I think I won't as I doubt it would do any better than your lovely piece.

It looks like a MS-66 FS to me. I like the toning!

Simply wow. :-)

*That* is a nice specimen. The empty hole in my roll-searching Whitman album is crying softly in jealousy. :-)

I was going to say 65, but 66 would not have surprised me. No surprise! Beautiful coin.
