hey guys, I've been reading about people ordering these huge bags from the Central Bundesbank in Germany, and am very interested in them because I'm a heavy world coin collector. Where would I be able to order them from?
Please let me know, I'd appreciate it! Thanks in advance! :)

I'm not sure how available they are anymore, back about 8-10 years ago they were everywhere for sale.

If you find a place post it here as I'm sure others (like myself) would be interested.

if I am not mistaken (and I very well could be) these were most commonly available when the EU switched from individual currency to euro. I havent seen a steady supply in a while.

i recently ordered 10 lbs from each of http://www.educationalcoins.com, http://www.colonialacres.com, and http://www.blackmountaincoins.com and will post the results of the variety and mix once I receive and sort them.

if anyone has "sources" please share them

i still think the best source of world bulk is trading with members here. pound for pound, take what you need, top up the pile, and trade them to someone else - all it costs in the shipping.

Thanks for the replies, guys, I really appreciate them.
As for bundesbank bags, I found a guy selling 1/2 pound lots on ebay for $8.00 plus shipping which is extremely expensive...wonder whether its legitimate or not lol.

the "real" ones were stitched shut (red thread if I remember right). the silver had still all been pulled before they were bagged up, but a lot more rarer, older dates were found compared to the ones opened by the importers, and again by the dealers, before they were available to the general public.

now people are making a living selling the empty bags (and now even replica bags) that can be filled with vending machine & toll booth rejects and sold off as bundies...
