I am seeking information on the "known" highest graded 1923 Peace dollar VAM 1A2.

I believe the rarity # given might be over-rated, I could be wrong, ANY help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Mike.....

I looked at the SSDC registry and there are 7 graded from AU58 to MS65. The scores for this VAM are relatively high indicating its relative rarity. I personally don't think the Peace dollar gets as much pressure as the Morgan dollar so with 7 high grades already registered I believe you're suspicion may be correct. Noel

Thanks Noel, I was checking out some slabbed coins and came across the 1A , only to find the break between the L and the I bringing it to the VAM 1A2 - NGC MS-65..........Probably was slabbed before the discovery of the 1A2, I am also of the belief the Peace dollar is a sleeper of the Silver Dollars produced, Thanks again Noel......Mike. One must always keep in mind the relative term " known"!!!
